Or choose your own two-wheeled adventure from the many gravel roads and 4WD trails in the region, punctuated by a stop at one of the beautiful swimming holes and waterfalls.

Musgravea Trail MTB

MUSGRAVEA TRACK

Distance: 6kms | Time: 2hrs | Surface: Dirt road

This easy 6km one-way ride takes you into the dense rainforest of the Djiru National Park, just inland of Mission Beach, and has lovely swimming spots at either end.

Four mile Beach

THE BEACH

Distance: 10kms | Time: 1hr | Surface: Compact sand

This popular 10km one-way ride takes you from Mission Beach down to South Mission Beach via Wongaling Beach with great views to Dunk Island.

MISSION BEACH MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK

Rip up almost 5km of single-track at this mountain-bike park just south of Mission Beach. All trails are green-rated and suitable for less experienced riders.

CARDWELL FOREST DRIVE

Distance: 10-40kms

This road out of Cardwell puts the Cardwell State Forest and up to 40km of gravel roads and 4WD tracks at your disposal, plus two of the most eye-catching swimming spots in the region, Cardwell Spa Pool and Attie Creek Falls.
