Event details
Undercurrents features a collection of paintings, works on paper, sculpture, photography, textile installations and screen to address the differences between (written) colonial history and First Peoples’ (oral) history. Curated by Janina Harding and Hetti Perkins, with works from art centres, local independent artists and gallery represented artists, the exhibition reveals the Blak resilience of sovereign nations.
This exhibition is part of the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair.
