UMI Arts’ annual event is a free, community celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, primarily from the Tropical North Queensland region. Visitors can enjoy Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dancing, music, storytelling and performances and celebrate the talent and diversity of the Indigenous people. There will also be an array of Indigenous art and craft market stalls where visitors can meet, talk to and learn about each item, from the Indigenous cultural practitioner or craftsperson who has made each piece. This is a free, family-friendly event with all welcome!
