The Great Barrier Reef Underwater Film Festival, previously known as the Cairns Underwater Film Festival, is a showcase of images and films of the magical underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef as seen through the lens of a camera. Welcoming both local and international photographers and filmmakers, this festival aims to present the incredible natural beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.
The event is staged by a volunteer committee and run as a not for profit organisation.
