Shantara Resort Port Douglas offers boutique apartment style accommodation ideal for couples, honeymooners or the independent traveller looking to escape in tranquil surrounds. (Children over the age of 16 are welcome).

Shantara is located walking distance to Macrossan Street, where you will find an array of restaurants and cafes, and only 400 metres to Four Mile Beach.

The one bedroom apartments have a full kitchen, king bed, separate spa bath and separate shower, large living area that opens out to the balcony with sitting area. Other one bedroom apartments feature pool deck access from the balcony and/or Jacuzzi’s (hot tub) in private courtyards.

The studio rooms have queen beds, kitchenette with bathroom with separate shower and a balcony to sit out on with a cool drink, perfect for the shorter stay. The Studio pool deck rooms will allow you access to the pool from the balcony.

Available also wireless internet, ipod/iphone docking station, cable television, DVDs and laundry facilities to all apartments and studios.

Two pools, both heated in winter. Gymnasium, Day Spa for personalised treatments, undercover barbecue area, lifts to all levels, secure free car parking.
