Cardwell UFO Festival

Get your intergalactic fix at Australia’s only UFO festival – Cardwell UFO Festival. The weekend highlights the extra-terrestrial activities around Cardwell and has an action-packed program including family activities, markets, show rides and a costume party. Catch extra terrestrial experts discussing unexplained phenomena, including local UFO sightings and the mysterious Cardwell Lights, at the C-Files forum.

Tropical Art Deco Festival

Red Bull Defiance

Indulge in the Cassowary Coast’s fresh produce at Feast of the Senses, an annual foodie festival with cooking demonstrations, market stalls and food trails. Last year’s event was a huge success, with many events booked out.

On a Mission Multisport Adventure

Paddle, run and bike your way through Mission Beach and Dunk Island on this exciting multi-sport event. Ocean paddle in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, ride through the Wet Tropics World Heritage Rainforest and run along Mission Beach and Mt Kootaloo on Dunk island. Compete as an individual or grab your mates to enter the mixed, womens or mens team categories.
