Celebrating music, friendship and cultural understanding, the Tablelands Folk Festival is the longest running folk festival in Queensland. Held in Yungaburra heritage village, surrounded by rainforest and crater lakes, it features family entertainment over four days.
The festival program includes local, national and international acts performing folk, acoustic roots, blues, jazz, world, country roots, swing, bluegrass and workshops with performers. There is also comedy, buskers, Poet’s Breakfasts, a Children’s Festival, street performers and a parade through town, plus craft and market stalls. In addition there is a songwriter competition, workshops and a Health and Wellness Fair.

- There is the usual parking on the streets of town, but please observe all signs and road closures.
- Performances are held at various venues around Yungaburra Township, centred around the Heritage listed Yungaburra Hotel.
- The Festival markets have an excellent range of food catering for all diets. There are also many friendly and affordable restaurants and cafes throughout the township.
- The Festival is a One & All accessible event and provides facilities for people with a disability. There is wheelchair access to all venues.
